Hidden Heavens
My name is Nicolas Walters and this is my collection of astrophotography over the last few years. When I was in fourth grade, my school had an astronomy night with a large telescope. Nothing could prepare me for what I saw through that telescope: Saturn in its full color, rings, and moons. Never had I seen something that seemed so surreal.
Since then, I have always pursued seeing what else the skies had to offer. To my amazement, there was literally an entire universe not just to see, but to capture tangible pieces of. These prints are my way to show these hidden heavens that are invisible to the naked eye to everyone who wishes to gaze. I hope you all enjoy these snapshots into space and time as much as I do!
Types of Prints
Printed art will not have watermarks and are a much higher resolution than shown in previews.
Semi-Gloss: The classic option for a poster of any size! The biggest pro for semi-gloss is reducing glare while maintaining some of the vibrancy. Great for pinning directly to the wall or framing!
Photo Gloss: A high gloss photographic paper is the best option for a large poster size print that is ready to frame! This option allows for a much higher contrast and vibrancy when compared to the semi-gloss option.
Metal Print: Printed directly onto aluminum, this is a hard option to beat when it comes to its high contrast, especially for celestial landscapes and galaxy, while offering another step up in vibrancy compared to photographic glossy paper.
Acrylic Print: Arguably the best medium to display astrophotography. Keeping up with the contrast that metal prints offer, the vibrancy is unmatched when compared to any other option. With acrylic, a depth is added to the image allowing for a 3D like pop that cannot be achieved with other materials making this a top end choice to display your print.
